Matrimonial Maintenance Claim - Respondents

Being a Respondent, you need to be aware that your ex-spouse, the Complainant has the right to submit the matrimonial maintenance claim records to Experian Non-Bank Bureau. You may also opt in to submit your records to display your commitment to service the maintenance order issued by the Court.

You can request a copy of the report on how your matrimonial maintenance claim records will appear in the Bureau Report from us and if you find that the records are not up-to-date, you may complete an Update Record Form or visit our office in person with the Court Order and other supporting documents related to the matrimonial maintenance order to either of the following locations:

You may request to remove the record from the Experian Non-Bank Bureau after demonstrating prompt payment for a continuous period of 3 consecutive months. 

You can request for a copy of the respondent’s matrimonial maintenance claim report from Experian Non-Bank Bureau update your record at no charge. However, there will be a fee for the report to be sent to you on a regular basis. 

You can go to the any of the two below addresses to lodge an update for your record. You should bring along with you the Matrimonial Court Order, a completed Update Record form, supporting documents such as, bank statements or evidence of payments and your original photo ID with NRIC number (such as NRIC) or passport (for foreigners) for verification.

If you are authorising another person to update the matrimonial maintenance claim report on your behalf, you have to fill in the 'Authorisation to purchase on behalf' section of the application form. He/she should bring along both his/her and your original photo ID with NRIC number (such as NRIC) or passport (for foreigners) for verification.
